MEET KAT

With over eight years of experience working in the marketing and creative field, Kat is an experienced marketing and design professional with a unique skill set; she specializes in helping organizations build their brand through consistent strategic messaging and design, in areas including: social media, email marketing, digital content, advertising, and mobile and web product design. Kat has professional marketing experience working with an array of clients, with a focused passion in Healthcare.

A methodical creative, some of Kat’s strong suits include her ability to; plan and execute compelling campaigns, develop and deliver messaging and content strategies that span multiple touch points, manage and prioritize numerous projects, identify and implement changes to improve performance metrics, design pixel-perfect user interfaces, presentations and marketing materials. 

Kat graduated cum laude from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Biology. She has also received certification as a Certified Usability Analyst (CUA), demonstrating her mastery of the fundamental principles of user-centered design (UX). She is the owner and founder of Katalyst Designs, a branding, consulting and marketing firm – as well as a graphic designer – whose past clients have included The City of Phoenix and The University of Arizona.

Currently based in Austin, TX. Kat loves exploring the city searching for the best taco, dreaming up new recipes to try in the kitchen, and collecting stamps in her passport!
